Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of academic support services by Meta College. By enrolling in any Meta College programme, the parent/guardian and learner agree to the conditions outlined below.

1. Nature of Services
Meta College provides structured online academic support for learners studying the CAPS or IEB curriculum.
Meta College is not a registered school and does not replace a learner’s formal school enrolment. The service focuses on:
- Subject-specific academic reinforcement
- Structured weekly online sessions
- Exam preparation and academic guidance
- Support for learners rewriting or upgrading matric subjects
2. Enrolment Confirmation
A learner’s place in the programme is only confirmed once:
- The enrolment form has been completed
- Payment has been received
- These Terms & Conditions have been accepted
Meta College reserves the right to decline enrolment where capacity limitations or programme suitability apply.
3. Fees and Payment Terms
- Tuition fees are charged monthly.
- Payment is due on or before the 1st day of each month.
- Services may be suspended if payment is not received.
- Access to classes may be withdrawn until payment is brought up to date.
Meta College reserves the right to adjust fees with reasonable notice.
4. Cancellation Policy
- A 30-day written notice is required to cancel enrolment.
- The notice period begins from the date cancellation is received.
- The final payment obligation will apply during the notice period.
- The final tuition payment for the academic year is due on 1 November.
5. Missed Sessions
If a learner is unable to attend a scheduled session:
- Sessions missed by the learner are not refundable.
- Rescheduling may be offered where possible but is not guaranteed.
6. Technology Requirements
Learners must have access to:
- A reliable internet connection
- A computer or suitable device
- A functioning microphone and camera where required
Meta College is not responsible for disruptions caused by the learner’s internet connectivity or device limitations.
7. Learner Conduct
Learners are expected to participate respectfully and responsibly in all sessions.
Meta College reserves the right to remove learners from sessions or terminate enrolment in cases of disruptive behaviour, misconduct, or misuse of the learning environment.
8. Intellectual Property
All learning materials, lesson content, and resources provided by Meta College remain the intellectual property of Meta College.
These materials may not be copied, distributed, recorded, or shared without written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Meta College provides academic support services but does not guarantee specific academic results or examination outcomes.
Meta College shall not be liable for:
- Academic performance outcomes
- School examination results
- Technical interruptions beyond its control
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Meta College processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Information collected during enrolment is used only for administrative, communication, and educational purposes.
Agreement
By completing the enrolment process and submitting payment, the parent/guardian and learner confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Meta College reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Updated versions will be published on the website.
